We're stoked about being on the new Under the Radar Magazine Sampler with some Sub Pop and Merge bands.
So, if you want, run out to Barnes & Noble / Borders, buy yourself a copy of the July magazine (it's the one with Jarvis Cocker), and get a code so you can download it. If you don't, don't worry, the world will remain mostly unchanged.
Shows: looks like we have a monthly "residency" type thing at silver factory studios. so we'll be back on friday, july 31.

Under the radar mag
Under the Radar Magazine's Sampler, vol. 9, will feature "Art School Dropout" with some Sub Pop bands. It's coming out in July. We think you have to buy the next magazine and get a code to download it.
We're tired of cylons. Bob Dylan: Essential Interviews is great. And Paul got a brie-cheesemaking kit.

Skope Magazine "Artist to Watch" pick
so here's some new press we found out about today:
"This next group just gets us at Skope all excited. One listen and you can just tell that this four piece called Par Avion is on to something.
"SPIN.com recently raved about these guys in '8 Undiscovered Bands Worth a Listen.'
"A favorite track that we just cannot get out of our head is 'Art School Dropout.' Two words that best describe Par Avion are 'mass appeal.' Another thing to note is the amount of press that Par Avion has garnered is impressive. We could not agree with these media outlets more. We will be keeping an eye on Par Avion."
we should buy Skope a drink, or something. at the very least, maybe paul will let them see his new window-ledge aromatherapy garden, where he'll be deep-huffing lavender and chamomile.

looks like we're going to be getting more play on WFNX-Boston. (they were the ones who picked "fibromyalgia" with SPIN for the write-up.) this time it looks like they've decided to put "angola U-N-I-T-A" in rotation beginning Monday, May 11th.

cheese ... fashion show ... and show
Paul wants you to know he is learning the fine art of cheesemaking. Yes, with a little time to spare of late, he's ordered a kit online, so wish him luck. (Apologies to our vegan readers, and all those who think this humble science is lame.) He expects to be a farmer perhaps by the time you've finished this very sentence.
Anyway, Paul is also organizing a fashion show to benefit the ONE Campaign and Falling Whistles on April 29. Bands will be Spirit Vine and Polyamorous Affair. Details are here.
We're not playing as many shows as we work on the new EP, but our next show will be June 26th at Silver Factory Studios with The Wanteds from Portland, OR. We'll keep you posted w/ details.
Now Paul will get back to his churning.

SPIN.com + welcome at long last to the newly re-designed site (in-progress)
okay, it's not that great, but we're sick of being on this internet thing.
we're still on a cloud about being a SPIN.com pick ... even if they called "fibromyalgia" nerd rock. which it is. but ... what of our other charms? (andrew, for example, has great stigmata.)
this site still looks a little raw, but we'll be updating it make it look fresh and keen as we go. we hope.
